If you’ve been doing EFT on your own for some time and experiencing tremendous success with it, you may be wondering why you would need an EFT practitioner. EFT is a great tool, and quite a lot can be accomplished by the determined do-it-yourselfer. That’s one of the things I love so much about EFT!

Every so often though we reach a point where we can greatly benefit from working with an EFT practitioner. That’s why we practitioners have our own EFT practitioner friends or mentors we go to when we need additional help with our clearing. Here are nine compelling reasons why you need an EFT practitioner on your success team supporting you.

1. Having another person tapping together along with you makes the EFT more effective.

Just like with prayer, the more people you have tapping along, focusing on the same issue or goal, the more effective it is. That’s why when you are dealing with a serious illness such as cancer, it is recommended that the entire family tap for the benefit of the person with the disease rather than having the person tap just on their own.

2. You gain the insight of someone ‘outside’ the problem.

Sometimes we are just too close to our own issues to be able to find our way out of them, and that is where the insight of an EFT practitioner can be so helpful. Your practitioner can help guide you beyond the obstacles blocking your path.

3. Your practitioner can hear key things in your speech that you can’t.

The words you use are important, especially when doing EFT. When you work with an EFT practitioner, you have someone to notice the significance in the words you use as you are speaking – something nearly impossible to do for yourself without help.

4. You have someone to help keep you focused and track your results.

To get the best results from your EFT practice, you need to stay laser focused on each specific event you are clearing. It’s easy to get lazy, to forget or not bother to give yourself your 0-10 rating of discomfort on a given feeling, and to start tapping on feelings or events that are too general to be helpful. Your practitioner helps you maintain your focus and separate out different emotions so you can get better results and also better recognize that progress you’ve made. Once you clear a problem and all its aspects, it’s completely gone – and sometimes it can be hard to remember there was even a problem at all unless you’re keeping track.

5. You gain additional security with an EFT practitioner you trust.

When you work with the right EFT practitioner you have an increased sense of security. This can allow you to clear deeper issues that you might not feel safe enough to visit on your own.

6. You benefit from support with no judgment.

Friends and family may be in support of us to various degrees, but usually there is some level of judgment that goes along with that support. With your practitioner you have the support you need to aid in your healing and help you reach your goals, but no judgment attached to it. Your EFT practitioner knows it’s all energy, so there’s no judgment on you, your issues or your goals.

7. Your EFT practitioner believes in you even when you don’t.

Stuck in our own ‘stuff’ we create all sorts of limitations for ourselves that become real to us. Fortunately, your EFT practitioner can see beyond this illusion, see you for the radiant light that you truly are, and s/he believes in you even when you don’t. This makes your practitioner a powerful ally in overcoming the obstacles that are preventing you from enjoying your life to the fullest.

8. You have someone to hold you accountable, but still with no judgment.

How much more likely are you to follow through with something if you’ve told someone else about it? A lot, right? But when you confide in someone there’s often a risk of feeling judged. Your EFT practitioner is a safe person to confide in and to hold you accountable, because there is no judgment attached to her/his support and belief in you.

9. Working with your EFT practitioner will dramatically increase your EFT learning curve.

Through your sessions together, you will learn more about how to make the best use of EFT and you will find out how to make your tapping even more effective than it already is. This will greatly improve the results you get on your own, and help you achieve even greater healing than what you’ve experienced before now.
